One of the most powerful weapons a Christian has at their disposal is prayer. Its possibilities depend solely on the degree of faith with which we act. A lack of faith—or unbelief—limits the potential and the results a person can achieve through prayer. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 4:16, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Our confidence in God is a vital factor in obtaining the desired results. God is not impressed by prayers that are long or short, eloquent or simple, offered in sorrow or in joy; He is impressed by your faith. “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6).
